siggraph 2007 - course on massive models
5th August 2007, Sunday, we gave the full-day course called State of the Art in Massive Model Visualization where we repeated the experience of Eurographics 2006, but with a more coherent content. Dave Kasik from Boeing (the course organizer) and Enrico Gobbetti (from CRS4) took care to correct the mistakes of Eurographics, and make the submission to Siggraph.

The lecturers were:

  • Beat Brüderlin (Technische Universität Ilmenau and 3DInteractive GmbH)
  • Wagner Correa (IBM Corporation)
  • Andreas Dietrich (Universität des Saarlandes and inTrace GmbH)
  • Enrico Gobbetti (CRS4)
  • Dinesh Manocha (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill)
  • Fabio Marton (CRS4)
  • Inigo Quilez (VRContext)
  • Philipp Slusallek (Universität des Saarlandes and inTrace GmbH)
  • Abe Stephens (University of Utah)
  • Sung-Eui Yoon (Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories)
